Cancellation and Returns

Here is how cancelling works, what we do if a canvas reaches you damaged or wrong, and exactly when and how money comes back to you.

First, a note on how we work

Your canvas is printed and finished only after you order it, so there is no spare copy waiting on a shelf. That is the reason we do not take back a canvas simply because you have changed your mind.

1. Cancelling

You can cancel at no cost until your order leaves us, which is usually within 3 days of your order.

Send your order number to hello@wishanart.com, or call or WhatsApp +91 88262 00757. After dispatch an order cannot be cancelled, though section 2 still protects it.

A cancellation before dispatch is refunded in full, with nothing deducted, to the payment method you used.

Murals and custom sizes are quoted one by one. Their written quote sets the cancellation terms; anything the quote does not cover falls under this policy.

2. Damaged, faulty or wrong: we replace it free

Within 7 days of delivery, we will replace your order at no charge if:

• it reached you damaged in transit;
• it has a print or construction fault;
• it is the wrong artwork, size or frame;
• part of the order is missing.

As each canvas is made for one buyer, we cannot accept a return because you have changed your mind or the piece looks different in the room than you pictured. Slight colour differences between a screen and the print are not a fault either; our Terms explain why.

3. Making a claim

1. Within 7 days of delivery, email hello@wishanart.com or WhatsApp +91 88262 00757, sharing the order number plus photos of the canvas and the carton it came in.
2. We reply within 48 hours.
3. Once the claim is accepted, we collect the piece at our own expense. You never pay to send back a damaged, faulty or wrong item.
4. Please keep the packaging until the claim is closed, in case the courier asks to inspect it.

An unboxing photo or video is optional, but it makes a transit claim very quick to settle.

4. What happens next

We send a free replacement, identical in artwork, size and finish, made afresh and shipped at our expense within the usual dispatch and transit times. You pay nothing.

If we cannot make a replacement (say the artwork has been withdrawn), or the replacement also arrives damaged or faulty, we refund the full price of that item along with any charges paid on it.

5. When refunds arrive

Refunds under this policy arise in three cases: you cancelled before dispatch, we could not fulfil or deliver your order, or a faulty item could not be remade. In each case:

Refund started	Within 3 business days from the date you cancel, or the date we accept your claim
In your account	Within 5 to 7 business days after it is started
Paid to	The payment method you used, every time

How long the last step takes is up to your bank or card provider, which we cannot speed up. You will get the gateway's refund reference so you can follow it up.

6. Failed or double payments

If money left your account but the order did not go through, or you were charged twice, the gateway returns it to the source on its own. If it has not arrived within 5 to 7 business days, send us the transaction reference and we will take it up with the gateway for you.

7. Addresses we cannot reach

If your PIN code proves unserviceable, or delivery fails for a reason that is not yours, we cancel the order and return everything you paid.

Each complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours with a reference number, and resolved within one month of the day it reaches us.
