Hand-Painted Murals

Some walls ask for more than a frame. A mural is painted by hand, directly onto your wall, by artists we work with: in a home, a cafe, a restaurant, an office or a hotel. Prefer a printed design? Look at custom wallpaper design.

The shape of a mural project

1. Reading the room. Before any art, the space itself: its light, its furniture, who spends time there and the feeling it should carry. A site visit where possible; otherwise your photographs and measurements.
2. Drawing it out. Sketches, colour studies and a composition scaled to the wall. Paint goes on only after you sign off the design.
3. A written quote. Price, inclusions and the days we will be on site, all on paper.
4. Painting. The wall is prepared, the design is marked out, and the artists paint it by hand. Small walls take days; large ones can run to a couple of weeks.
5. Finishing. A protective coat, a careful last look, and a walk round the wall with you, including how to care for it.
